A distance-running culture

Morocco has one of the strongest middle-distance traditions in the world. Hicham El Guerrouj still holds the 1500 m world record, and Soufiane El Bakkali won Olympic steeplechase gold in Tokyo and Paris. Elite groups from around the world come to train at altitude in the Middle Atlas.

We plan the block around your coach's program: track access, trail and road loops, soft surfaces, gym time and recovery. Sprints and field events groups go to warm-weather bases where facility access is easier to secure.
