Why clubs pick Marrakech
Late January in Marrakech usually means cool mornings and dry, sunny days, a welcome change from northern winter. The course is flat and starts close to the medina, so the race doubles as a tour of the city. Direct flights from the UK and Europe take around four hours, and Casablanca is about seven hours nonstop from New York.
Sample 5-day race week
- Thursday: arrive, transfer to the hotel, easy shakeout through the Menara gardens.
- Friday: short morning run, guided medina walk, bib collection.
- Saturday: 20-minute shakeout, rest and an early pasta dinner.
- Sunday (race day): transport to the start, recovery lunch, celebration dinner.
- Monday: hammam or a gentle day in the Atlas foothills, then departure. Clubs often add two or three days in the Agafay desert or the High Atlas.
What CampNRuns handles

- Race-week runs with local guides and pace groups
- Transport on race morning
- Meals timed around the race, including pre-race dinner
