Quick answer

Is Marrakech a good base for a team training camp?

Marrakech is the easiest Moroccan base to reach, with dry, sunny winters (around 19 °C average highs in January), resort hotels with room for a squad, and the High Atlas about 1–1.5 hours away. It is best from October to April; summer is too hot inland for most training.

Why teams start in Marrakech

Marrakech has the widest choice of direct flights from Europe and good connections from the US through Casablanca. Resort hotels on the city's edge offer pools, space for team meetings and easy coach access to venues.

Winter days are dry and sunny with cool mornings, ideal for training. In summer, temperatures climb well above 35 °C, so we move summer camps to the coast or to Ifrane.

Off the field there is a lot to see: the medina and Jemaa el-Fnaa, the Majorelle Garden, the Palmeraie and day trips into the High Atlas.

How it works

From brief to departure

Four steps. Nothing is booked until venues and opponents are confirmed in writing.

  1. Tell us the brief

Sport, level, dates, group size, budget and goals. A short form or a 20-minute call is enough.

  2. Get a draft program

A day-by-day draft with hotel options, venue types and a costed proposal you can take to your director or board.

  3. Confirm the details

We confirm venues, opponents and room blocks before you commit, then lock everything in a written agreement.

  4. Travel and train

Your coordinator meets the team at arrivals and runs the ground game until departure.

FAQ

Questions coaches ask

Is Marrakech too hot for summer training?

Usually yes from June to September. We recommend Agadir or Ifrane for summer camps.

Can we combine Marrakech with another city?

Yes. Agadir is around three hours by motorway, which makes a good two-centre trip.
