Morocco entry rulesfor sports teams
Visas, passport validity and the paperwork a travelling team should carry.

Do sports teams need a visa for Morocco?
US, UK, EU, Canadian and Australian passport holders do not need a visa for tourist stays in Morocco of up to 90 days. For US citizens the State Department says the passport must be valid for at least six months on entry and have a blank page for the entry stamp. Other nationalities on your roster should check their own rules early.

Who needs a visa?
Most teams we host come from the US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia. Passport holders from these countries can enter Morocco for tourism without a visa for up to 90 days. A sports tour, training camp or friendly match program fits inside that window for almost every team.
Rosters are rarely uniform. International students on a college or club roster may hold passports with different rules. Ask every traveller which passport they will use as soon as the trip is confirmed, and check those cases with the nearest Moroccan consulate.
Passport rules
- Validity: the US State Department advises that passports be valid for at least six months on entry.
- Blank pages: one blank page per entry stamp.
- Names: flight bookings and rooming lists must match passports exactly. We collect passport details once and use them for flights, hotels and venue access.
Minors travelling with a school or club
For school and youth teams, carry a signed parental consent letter for each minor, a copy of each passport, emergency contacts and medical information. Your school or club's own travel policy usually sets the exact forms; we share a document checklist with group leaders before departure.
Equipment and customs
Team kit, balls and personal training equipment travel as normal checked baggage. Larger items such as vaulting poles, bikes or medical kits need airline approval in advance. Tell us about anything unusual and we arrange transport from the airport.
Insurance
Travel insurance that covers sport participation and medical evacuation should be in place for every traveller. Most college athletic departments and many clubs already hold a policy; check that it covers Morocco and the activities on the program.
Quick questions
Do UK players need a visa for Morocco?
No. UK passport holders can visit Morocco for tourism without a visa for up to 90 days. Check the UK FCDO travel advice before departure for the latest rules.
Can international students on a US roster travel?
Usually yes, but rules depend on the passport they hold. Check each case with a Moroccan consulate as soon as the roster is known.
Is a training camp or friendly match allowed on a tourist entry?
Teams on training camps, tours and friendlies normally travel on standard visa-free entry. Professional competition with prize money or paid contracts can have different rules, so ask us early if that applies.
