How long is the flight to Morocco for a team?
From the UK and much of Western Europe, direct flights to Marrakech or Agadir take about 3h40 to 4h45. From the US, Royal Air Maroc flies nonstop to Casablanca from New York (JFK), Washington (IAD) and Miami in about 7 to 8 hours, and added Los Angeles from June 2026. Teams from Australia connect through a Gulf or European hub.

US teams
Royal Air Maroc operates nonstop flights to Casablanca from New York JFK, Washington Dulles and Miami. A Los Angeles route launched on 7 June 2026 with three flights a week, the first nonstop link between Morocco and the US West Coast. From Casablanca, teams continue by domestic flight, train or private coach. Marrakech is about 2.5 to 3 hours by road.
UK and European teams
Direct flights reach Marrakech and Agadir from London, Manchester and many other UK and European airports, several times a day in winter. Morocco is on GMT+1 for most of the year (GMT+0 during Ramadan), close to the UK and Central Europe, so there is little or no jet lag before training.
Booking group flights
- Book group fares early for 10 or more travellers. Group contracts often allow name changes until close to departure.
- Equipment: declare balls, poles, bikes and medical kits with the airline in advance.
